Android L might be a chocolate flavour after all

There’s a rumour going around that that Android L (either v4.5 or v5 depending on what you read) might be another tie up with Nestle. This time it might be Android Lion. Probably unlikely though.

Turns out app developers are “pretty sloppy”

Several major apps have been found to be woefully insecure when it comes to handling user data. In a Fappening beating way, it turns out that Facebook still stores some images on un-encrypted, un-authenticating servers. Brilliant.

Child friendly YouTube player released

If, like me, you have small children running around the house you know that they do so love to click about within YouTube given half the chance. Now, for younger users, the HomeTube app lets smaller users browse YouTube from a selection of categories unlikely to embarrass even the strictest household.
