Nexus 7 Case: MoKo Slim-fit Cover Case

I’ve had my Nexus 7 for a couple months now but still hadn’t got around to getting a case. I decided that it was times to finally make the plunge before something bad happens. A 7-inch tablet is much more portable and I tend to take it with me to most places. After some searching I decided to give the MoKo Slim-fit case a try as I had also purchased the same brand for my Galaxy Note 10.1 and was very happy. Today my case arrived and I’m happy to say that after a few hours I think I made the right decision.

First thing to note is that this case has gone through some modifications since its initial release and it seems like all the issues have been worked out. The case is not as slim as you might expect but still adds minimal size and weight. The tablet feels like a really solid small book in your hand. One things that I really like about MoKo cases is that they use very good quality leather. It not only looks good but really feels great on touch which is really important. The case has an automatic sleep/wake function which is fantastic and I found to be working properly without any issues. Based on some comments it seems like earlier version of the case had some problems. But I would say based on my experience and more recent comments those problems are gone.

The case also has an elastic hand strap on the back that can be use when  you fold the cover all the way around. The strap is firm but doesn’t feel too tight and comfortably holds the tablet. You also need to use the elastic band on the front to keep the cover open. The case has multiple landscape viewing modes although I have found that I tend to use 7-inch tablet in portrait mode most often. The back  has holes where the speaker is located to allow for sound. The power and volume buttons are easily accessible on the side along with the micro USB and headphone on the bottom.

Overall I would give the MoKo Slim-fit case for the Nexus 7 a 4-star rating. Specially now that all the improvements have been made it’s a really good case. I’ve had great experience with MoKo cases so far and will continue to use them for the future. Checkout the MoKo case and let us know you like it or what is your favorite case on the Nexus 7.
