On the hills of the recent release of the Galaxy S4 phone, Samsung has announced the new Galaxy Tab 3. This will be a 7 inch tablet that is near identical to the previous Galaxy Tab 2 device. It seems like Samsung is sticking to what’s working right now and choosing to release devices in every size possible. Either there is consumer demand or Samsung just wants to saturate our lives with their devices so no matter which way we turn there is a Samsung device to be had. Now for the details.
As you would expect the new Tab 3 looks like a blown up S4 design with a center home button. Specs are on the low-end with 1024 x 600 screen and a dual-core processor 1.2Ghz processor. The storage has been improved to 16GB with a microSD card for expandable storage. It will ship with Android 4.1 out of the box and there will be a 3G version as well. Prices hasn’t been announced but based on the specs it should be a budget tablet. There is also no S Pen functionality on this device like the Galaxy Note 8 tablet. It should be available for purchase in the beginning of May. Let us know what you think in the comment section.
