On Thursday Samsung unveiled their latest line of tablets called the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Galaxy Tab S 10.5. As expected these are premium tablets that come in at 8.4 inches and 10.5 inches. What makes these premium and better over their other tablets. Mainly we are talking about the screen, thinness of the device, and the first fingerprint scanner on a tablet. Both of these tablets are for the first time being made with Super AMOLED screen at a resolution of 2560 x 1600. This is the same screen technology on their current line of phones that has finally made it to the tablet. This makes for probably the best screen resolution and quality on an Android tablet that you will find. The screen is also designed to change color balance based on the lighting of the room.
In addition, the device comes at a super thin 6.6 mm which is even less than the iPad air currently. Other specs include quad-core processor, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB storage, Android 4.4 KitKat, 2.1 MP front camera, 8.0 MP back camera, and 9 hours of battery life. Those are definitely high-end hardware specs that we have come to expect from Samsung. Overall this is probably Samsung’s best tablet so far and we can’t wait to see it in person and try it out. You can preorder them now at a reasonable price of $399 for the 8.4 and $499 for the 10.5 inch with a release date of June 27th. Let us know what you think about this new line of tablets. Are you planning on getting one.?
