DashClock Widget: Android 4.2 Lockscreen Widget

If you have an Android device with Android 4.2 or higher than you know that a new lock screen widget feature has been added. Now you can get important information before you even unlock your phone. Not only can you have lock scree widgets but it supports multiple widgets by swiping screens. But if you want more than a few widgets than it gets tedious to constantly swipe. It would be great to get all of your information in one single widget. Well that’s exactly what DashClock Widget lets you do and it’s one of the best widgets on Android.

DashClock widget comes with extensions that let’s you add more than one information like weather, alarm, missed calls and more all in a single widget. What makes it even better is that its open source therefore other apps can tap into DashClock widget as well. This is really what makes this app go from great to just plain awesome. It’s already being adopted by many apps and many extensions are being developed. If there is an app that doesn’t have a DashClock widget then just email the developer and hopefully they will add support.

The overall look and feel of the app is clean and simple. It can be viewed in both expanded and minimized view. Extension can be easily added through the setting button and you can even change the order in which they are viewed. If you have an Android 4.2 device then you should absolutely be using this app and since it’s free there is nothing holding you back. If you want to find all the extension then search ‘DashClock’ in play store. Let us know what you think about this app in the comment section.
