Marvel Comics: The Most Popular Super Heroes On Your Android Tablet

The digital print era is here and Marvel Comics has decided to join with their recently released Android app. Marvel has some of the best and most classic comics like Spider-man, X-Men, Iron Man, Wolverine, Captain America, and more. I remember all the fun I had collecting comics as a kid and I still have all them in a box somewhere at home. Now, you can collect and read all your comics without needing any boxes and take them with you anywhere you go.

Marvel has done a great job with the interface on this app. You can view the comics in both portrait or landscape mode with pinch-to-zoom capabilities. A more enjoyable feature is the guided view which can be initiated with a double tap. The guided view moves you from panel to panel in each page with animation. For example, in one panel it will move from the dialogue of one character to another then proceed to the next panel. I really enjoyed this feature and thought it was an enhancement that made reading a digital comic much more enjoyable.

Regarding content, you have a wide selection of the Marvel comic with both new and old and series. You can browse by most popular, recently viewed, series, or author and you can always use the search box. There is an option for “buy in print” which will search nearby stores for that particular comic book. Once you select your comic you can share with the usual social sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. Most comics cost $1.99 with a few that are $2.99 and there are free issues that you can try. Go checkout some Marvel comics on your tablet and let us know what you think.

You can download the app from the Android Market.
