Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids Announced

If you walk around in public and specially a mall you will definitely notice kids with tablets. There is no doubt that kids are a prime source of tablet use in a household for games, reading, and learning. This trending is also rising to the low-cost tablets that are out there like Nexus 7, Amazon Kindle Fire HD, Sero 7, and a host of others as well. Up until now Samsung has had every kind of tablet except a kid version and that is about to end with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 kids.

The Galaxy Tab 3 Kids is a mid range 7″ inch tablet with a special kids casing that makes it easier to grip and has multiple stand options. There is also a C Pen included in the casing for drawing. It has a 1.2GHz dual processor, 1GB RAM, 3 megapixel front-facing camera and 1.3 megapixel rear-facing camera. There will also be a kids Samsung App market as well. This is pretty typical of other kids tablets on the market and nothing that stands out. But then again this has been Samsung approach to simply saturate the market. The tablet will be available in Korea this September and subsequently in other markets. If you are a big Samsung fan then this might be what you want next for your kids. Let us know what you think.
