Google Glass Web Browsing Demo

This last weekend I finally received my Google Glass in New York and it was an exciting day. Not only did I get to visit New York, a city that I spent 8 years previously, but I got to finally get my hands on Glass. The Google rep was amazing and walked me through all aspects of Glass and how to use it. It took about 1 hr to get through it all. I’ve now gotten back home and now playing with the device and seeing what it can do. Just recently Google pushed an update to Glass bringing it to XE7 version. Update for Glass happens every month and so far they have stayed true to it. This update brings a host of new features including a web browser.

Previously on Glass you could do web searches but only see the results. You could not open a web page and view its content. Now with the new update Glass has added a browser and it’s pretty great technology. You can easily scroll up and down and even zoom-in and out. There is also a slick pan technology that let’s you move around the page in the direction of your head and follow links. It’s definitely not perfect but it’s a great start. It’s much more clear on a video so check it out and let us know what you think in the comment section.
