Vizio 7″ and 10″ Tablets at CES 2013

Looks like Google has some more serious competition on its hands when it comes to tablets. Vizio has announced both a 7″ and 10″ tablet that are direct competition to the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 device. The 7-inch tablet is near identical to the Nexus 7 in specs and will be running stock Android 4.2 software. The tablet has also been designed to be held in portrait mode in one hand since reading is one of the main uses of the smaller tablets.

The Vizio 10-inch tablet will be one of the first tablets to use the new Tegra 4 SoC processor and include 2560 x 1600 display that matches the Nexus 10. It will run stock Android 4.2 software but it will be much lighter than the Nexus 10. Most other specs are identical to the Nexus 10. Pricing and availability for the 7″ and 10″ tablets are still not known but it is sure to be very competitive. It’s a great start to CES 2013 and it seems like there is no stopping the tablets.
