Just as the new Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ has been made available for shipping, Adobe and Amazon have announced the availability of Adobe Photoshop Touch for the device. The app has also been optimized to work with the new 7″ Kindle Fire HD and even the second generation Kindle Fire. However, the app does not support the original 1st generation Kindle Fire. An obvious ploy by Amazon and Adobe to get you to upgrade to the new device. If you have a new Kindle Fire and have been itching to try Photoshop Touch then your time has arrived. The app is $9.99 and well worth the price if you are a heavy user of Photoshop.
