Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch and 10-inch Tablets Announced

Today Samsung has announced two new tablets that will hit the market this month. These are the Galaxy Tab 3 models that will come in both 8 and 10 inch size. They have pretty typical specs except for the 10-inch that will be powered by an Intel processor. This is something new and we’ll have to see if this trends continues for Samsung in their future tablets or even phones. Now on to the details.

Both tablets will have a 1280 x 800 displaying running the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean software. The tablets will come in both 16/32 GB options with microSD expandable up to 64 GB. You have front and rear camera along with WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and USB 2.0 connections. The processor on the 8-inch models is a 1.5 GHz Dual Core processor while the 10-inch has a 1.6 GHz Dual Core processor by Intel.

Overall these are descent tablets but it will depend on the price. The tablet market is getting pretty heated and prices are dropping a lot. So in the end they may be better options out there then the newest Samsung tablet depending on the size that you want. In the 7 inch model the Nexus 7 is still the tablet to beat but some may want a slightly larger size like the 8 inch model. In that case the Tab 3 could be a good option. Let us know what you think about Samsung’s newest tablets.
