There are a lot of nice features to the TMZ app and it’s biased towards photos and videos which look great on a tablet. On the homescreen you are greeted with the latest news. There is a breaking and exclusive bar at the top which can be minimized. At the very top is your navigation for News, Photos Videos, and My Profile. On the right there is a window pane with all the TMZ videos. You can scroll up and down for the latest news and each story expands or collapses with a click. The photos and videos section has a simple layout and navigation. Each section has photo tiles and that can be panned with a categories menu on the right. All the videos on the homescreen can also be found in the video section.
The layout and navigation of TMZ app is great but there are other aspects which make it even better. You have the opportunity to comment on articles and share to Facebook or Twitter. Articles can be saved for later viewing. Another cool option is the ability to follow any celeb with alerts and updates. All those features require a profile to be created allowing you to customize the app to you liking. There are minimal ads that I noticed at first opening the app or scrolling through photos.
