Nexus 9 to feature Nvidia Tegra K1

NvidiaDocNvidia have accidentally released more information about the upcoming Nexus 9. The legal document published on the Nvidia website mentions that the Nexus 9 is to include the stonking Nvidia Tegra K1 graphics processor. The document, which was soon taken down, related to a claim made against the ITC with regards to issues relating to Samsung and Qualcomm.

So, we now know more than we did and it’s increasingly likely that the mythical tablet will be released next week.

Brightsideofnews are pitching the price at around $399 which would make sense. Whilst it’s a good deal more than the Nexus 7, it’s also much more tablet and power, so an increase in price is a fairly reasonable assumption. Brightsideofnews also have it on good authority that the release date will be the 16th of October.

Let’s hope so.
