Chromecast Now Supports Google+ Photos, WatchESPN, and MLS Matchday

Chromecast is less than a year old but there is no doubt that it has been a big hit for Google. At a low price of $35 it brings tons of functionality and ease of use. For those not familiar, Chromcast is a HDMI device you plug into your TV which then allows you to push content from your phone, tablet, or computer to your TV. What’s great is that it uses the same apps that you’re currently using and there is no need for new software. Just open up your current YouTube and push it to your TV then sit back and enjoy. New apps are being supported everyday.

Google has just announced that Google+ Photos, WatchESPN, and MLS Matchday all support Chromecast. Now it’s easier than ever to share your favorite pictures with friends and family on your TV. This was a highly requested item and I’m glad that Google stepped up and delivered. But there is more. Just in time for World Cup Brazile 2014, WatchESPN and MLS Matchday have also added support. You still need a cable subscription for WatchESPN to work. But now you won’t miss a match anywhere. Checkout it out and let us know how you’re using Chromecast.
