The Cleaner App Review – Free Up Memory and Storage

If you love technology then one of the best feelings is when you buy a shiny new device. Your device is awesome and running at its peak performance. But like all technology that doesn’t seem to last after a couple months. Slowly you install apps and things tend to slow down. Eventually your batter is draining and your phone or tablet is running much slower. Now that’s not a great feeling. Android does a good job of managing apps and memory but it’s never enough. Sometimes you just have to install a dedicated app to help free up your device. Now there a lot of apps for this purpose but a great one that we’ll look at today is The Cleaner app.

Now the one thing you don’t want in a cleaner app is one that comes loaded with lots of bloat. It just seems wrong that an app that claims to clean up your device would itself bog it down. Luckily you don’t have to worry about that with The Cleaner. This app has a great modern user interface and is very simple to use. The app is straight to the point and does what it says.

The Cleaner app helps free up memory and storage on your device which in turn will help it run better. A better running app leads to better battery life. In regards to storage there are a lot of apps that use a huge amount of temporary space called cache. In fact, Google apps are notorious for this like Google Music which can even use close to 1GB of cache. When I opened the app for the first time it showed Google Maps using over 400mb. That’s a lot of space being taken up that you are probably not using most of the time. Besides cache, there are probably a lot more space with temporary files and downloaded files that can be cleared. The Cleaner shows all the different types of files that it can clean up. You can easily check them off or on and with one tap free up space.

Memory is another area where some apps can just be a hog. The Cleaner app shows you easily how much memory can be freed up and what device are using the memory. You can get this information through your device settings as well but the interface on The Cleaner is much better and easier to use. With just one tap you can then free up most of the memory on your device.

One of my favorite features of The Cleaner is the widget. You can place both a memory and storage widget on your home screen. They are 4×1 size and run in real-time to show the amount of storage and memory you can free up. This is specially useful for memory because as you go about your day then more apps are opened and start to hog up your memory. The widget is a great quick glance to see if a large amount of memory can be freed and with one tap you are done. This is very useful and one of my favorite things about the app.

Overall The Cleaner app is a great way to free up memory and storage on your device. We are all guilty of downloading a lot of apps that eventually we don’t even use yet they can take up storage and memory. The Cleaner is a great way to keep on top things and help make your device run better. The app is free and can be downloaded at the link below. Check it out and let us know what you think.
