Disable Kindle Fire HD Ads

The Kindle Fire HD is priced very low and one of the reasons is that ads are served on the lockscreen. If you wan to buy the tablet without the ads it will cost you about $15. But we all know ads can be annoying and maybe you got the Kindle Fire as a gift. Today we are going to show you three different methods of removing the lockscreen ads.

There are currently three apps that will let you disable the Kindle ads but all of them require root access. If you haven’t rooted your device yet then head over to our easy tutorial here. The first app is KindleFree from the Play Store. If you have a rooted device then you can install Google Play Store and download it from there. Otherwise just visit our review and download the app for sideloading.

The second app that will also disable ads is the KindleFire xSettings app. This one is similar to the KindleFree but must be sideloaded. Just visit our review and download the app from there. The last method is using Titanium Backup Pro and required Google Play Store access. The Pro version is required and cost about $6. This is a good option if you have already purchased the app otherwise it’s probably too expensive. But if you have Titanium Backup Pro then watch our video below on how to easily freeze the ads app and disable it. I hope this help everyone enjoy their Kindle more and be sure to leave your comments if you have any questions.
