NY Times Google Glass App

The New York Times has wasted no time getting into the Google Glass app action. Even though only about 2,000 people currently have Glass the New York Times has released their first app. As a winner of the #ifIHadGlass contest and soon to be user of Google Glass I’m totally excited about this. You can install the Google Glass app by visiting the site here and connecting the app to your Glass. So what exactly does the app do.

I don’t have the Glass device to confirm but it seems like you will get occasional headlines read to you. This will include breaking news and hourly top news. Obviously that could get annoying if it’s constantly reading something but it could also be very useful if you are a news junky. You can even have have summaries of articles read to you as well. There doesn’t seem to be any pictures or videos involved yet but that would be very cool addition. If you are a Glass user then checkout the app and let us know how you like it.
