Google Play Movies on Kindle Fire HD

The Kindle Fire HD is a great device with access to music, movies, book, apps, and more. But all of that content comes from Amazon only. There is no official access to the Google Play Store which has much more content in terms of apps, music, and movies. But here on Android Cowboy we try to help everyone get the best out of their device. Today we’re going to show you how you can access all your movies and TV shows from Google Play on the Kindle Fire HD. Access to the content on Google Play will not require root and is a pretty easy process. So don’t worry about your warranty being void or anything bad happening to your device. The first step is to setup your Google account on your Kindle Fire HD which will require sideloading a few apps. Head on over to this link and follow the instructions exactly to get your Google account setup. The instructions use Google+ app to sign in but you can use another Google App like Chrome. But to keep it simple stick with Google+ and you’ll be good to go. Google-Play-Movies After the account is setup then grab the Google Play Movies & TV apk from here and install it on your device. If you access this page from your Kindle Fire then it will download directly on your device and when done just click the file in the notification setting to install it. If you are downloading from your computer then just transfer it on your Kindle Fire through USB and install just like the previous method used to setup the Google account. Once the app is installed then it should be in your app drawer. You can play any movie or TV show that you have bought from the Play Store. You cannot use the app to buy anything since you don’t have the Google Play Store installed. In order to add any content you’ll need to purchase it from the Play Store using your computer or through the browser on your Kindle Fire. The content will then automatically show up in the app on the Kindle Fire. We hope this will helps make your Kindle Fire HD even a better entertainment device and do let us know what you think in the comment section.
