Today we are going cover the KeyCase Nexus 7 Case with bluetooth keyboard. I love my Nexus 7 and one thing that makes it great is the small size that let’s me travel without much bulk. It’s great to read on the train, park, coffee shop or anywhere else. But there are times when you are travelling and need to get some work done. It’s definitely hard to use the touch keyboard if you have to do long emails or documents. That’s why a keyboard case is the perfect solution for those moments.
The Nexus 7 Keyboard Case is made out of leather style material and feels descent to the touch. The tablet can be inserted from the bottom and let’s you hold it comfortably in portrait mode or in landscape mode with the stand. The case is not too thick but certainly is not on the thin side either as it’s more about protection and comfort. There is a strap that slides in and will keep the case closed.
The bluetooth keyboard is easily paired with the Nexus 7 using a dedicated pairing button on the bottom right. It is charged through USB cable and does not require any batteries. The keyboard is embedded with a piece of leather that keeps it protected and is not attached to the case. This is actually good as most times you will probably use the tablet without the keyboard. When you do need the keyboard then you can place it underneath the tablet or actually anywhere that is comfortable. It is a very small keyboard, about the length of the tablet, and therefore too small for really fast typing. But it is definitely faster than the touch keyboard and has dedicated buttons as well.
Overall there are very good reason to have a Nexus 7 keyboard case for those times that typing is important. What makes it great is that you can keep the keyboard separate until you need it or keep it with the case. Either way you are bound to have good protection and productivity.
