The concept behind World of Goo is to simply reach the pipe in each level. To do so, you have to use goo to build structures that will stand up to gravity and obstacles with simple touch and drag. An an example, in one level you have to build a bridge but support with balloons that can’t go to high because of spikes. Your score depends on time and you have to reach the pipe with a certain number of goo left. If you finish a level with extra goo, then they will go to the World of Goo Corporation where you can compete online to build the biggest goo tower. There are different types of goo specific to each level like balloon goo that can help with obstacles or support structures. The puzzles start out easy but get very challenging as you move forward. There are certain basics to building structures but your imagination is really the key to success and what makes it fun.
There are many features that sets apart World of Goo from other brain and puzzle construction games.
