Sleepy Jack: A Fast Paced 3D Flying Game

SilverTree Media, the makers of Cordy, have another hit on their hands with Sleepy Jack. It’s a fast paced and intense 3D flying game that is sure to keep you entertained. Jack needs to get a good nights sleep and it’s up to you to help him navigate his dream world. Help Jack fly through what feels like a wormhole collecting Z’s and notes while shooting enemies and blasting through objects. Collect enough points to get 3 stars and show off by sharing your skills on Facebook. It’s time to help Jack sleep.

Controls for Sleepy Jack is simple as you have joystick, shoot and barrel roll. There are three options for movement which includes classic, slider and accelerometer. I found that accelerometer was easiest to use in which you touched the screen for shooting and use the buttons on either side for barrel roll. In the other two modes it was more difficult to do barrel rolls as there was no button. The barrel roll is very important since it slows time and makes Jack invincible and hence used very often.

The game involves flying through the wormhole like dreamworld collecting Z’s and notes. You have to be very quick to move Jack as everything comes flying at you at an incredible pace. In many parts you move through rings which boost your speed and have you warping along at incredible speed. Along the way you can collect different weapons to shoot objects in your way and enemies. The combinations of collecting and shooting varies with each level. Some levels only involve collecting and testing your flying skills with Jack while others are more shooting based with lots of enemies.

I played the game on easy and had my hands full making it through the levels but never failing. I did find it very difficult to get 3 stars since my flying skills was not up to par. It will take some real practice if you want to master this game and get the most points. You can also hack it through and just enjoy all the flying fun. Either way this is a very fun and intense game that will keep you playing for hours.
