One of the advantage of the Android operating system is that it can be fully customized and a great example is the use of widgets on phones and tablets. Widgets are very useful by providing information on the home screen without having to open an application. This is even better on a tablet where you can take advantage of the larger screen with bigger widgets. Time, weather and date are one of the most useful information and a widget is a great way to display that information on your screen. I find that I need a good clock and weather widget on any mobile device that I own. There are many apps in the Android Market but I have found that Beautiful Widgets is by far the best and worth the price.

The skin options are over 690 and vary quit a bit so you have many options to choose from and enjoy. There is also a useful battery widgets and toggle widgets like WiFi, brightness, GPS, Bluetooth, and more. There are also options for weather alerts and temperature notification bar.
On the home screen, touching the clock on any widget takes you to the alarm while the date goes to the calendar. Touching the weather forecast will take you to a full screen animation of the weather with 5-day forecast from Accuweather or Google and moon phases as well. You can also change what applications launches when touching the clock, date, or forecast. If you download the separate BW Animation Package you can have animated weather upon tablet unlock or download the Beautiful Live Weather add-on for a weather live wallpaper.
Needless to say, there are a lot of options to customize your home screen exactly the way you like with high quality widgets. I have no doubt that this is one of the best widgets apps and one that you are sure to enjoy and use frequently.
