Galaxy on Fire 2: A Space Action and RPG Game Optimized for Nvidia Tegra Devices

Galaxy on Fire 2 is a  space game that combines action, sci-fi, and role playing all in one. It’s optimized for Nividia Tegara devices and does not disappoint when it comes to graphics. In the game you are space adventurer Keith T. Maxwell and the galaxy is at your hands. You get to fly around and explore many different galaxies with 20 solar systems. During your exploration you will fight pirate ships, mine asteroids, escort convoys, and many more. You can have access to 30 different ships that you can customize with weapons, shields, and more. The game has a rich story line with missions and free play.

In game play, you have the option of both touch and tilt control although I found the tilt control difficult to use efficiently. The control are very responsive and you can tune the sensitivity to your liking. The game play and graphics are stellar with detailed solar system and asteroids. The game feels like you are in a Star Trek world where you are the captain. You have many solar systems to explore with different options allowing you many hours of game play. Here are some facts:

  • 20 solar systems
  • 100 different space stations
  • 30 customizable ships
  • 170 different trading commodities
  • Story, missions, and free game play
  • Over 10 hours of play

This is a richly detailed game with great 3D graphics that you are sure to enjoy. You can download the app from the Android Market and play the first solar system for free unlimited. The entire game can be purchased for $14.99 through the in-app purchase. Give the game a try and let us know what you think.
