Air Attack HD is a top down air combat shooter game with great graphics that runs very smoothly on tablets. This is by far one of best rated games for tablets and well worth the price of $2.99. It has over 1 million downloads on the Android market with an average rating of 4.5 stars.
The game features 8 levels of play on easy, medium, or hard with 2 planes that includes upgrades and special weapons. The first plane has a standard shooter while the second plane adds a flame shooter as well. There 58 different enemy types from air and ground along with huge end level bosses.
One of the great features of this game is the joystick control. You have four choice from touch, relative touch, tilt, and joypad. By far the joypad is the most difficult and not recommended. The advantage of a tablet with a large screen is the ability of using touch controls in games. The touch and the relative touch are very smooth and the easiest controls to use. I have found that relative touch control works best for me. Lastly, you can use the tilt mode which allows for movement of the plane by tilting the tablet itself. This is always a fun way of playing games and is sure to get onlookers to notice you.
