A new iPhone app called Somebody allows you to send a message not to your intended recipient but to somebody near them, with the intent of causing face to face communication.
That’s right. You can send your private messages to a stranger who can then read them out loud to someone that may, or may not, be the real recipient.
I have to say that while I understand the need to promote face to face communication, this seems like the most pointless use of technology since Yo!.
While the app itself doesn’t appear to be available for Android yet, it’s no doubt coming.
